Community journalists not happy with NRNA Australia

Australian Nepalese Community journalists are not happy with NRNA Australia after misbehaving incident happened during Sydney Nepal Festival last Saturday. During the event at Burwood Park, security personnel allegedly misbehaved with two community journalists, Hemanta Kafle and Chiranjivi Devkota, what the Australian Nepalese Journalist Association (ANJA) said in its press statement. They were there to report the event.

As community media, Nepalese vernacular websites often run live commentary through social media handles, and few are very popular. As per the statement released by its general secretary Narayan Khadka, security personnel disallowed those two journalists from taking stage photos and assessing the designated press corner.
Besides this, ANJA also condemned the act of devaluing community media roles to make the Nepal Festival successful in Brisbane.
