Prakash Saput performing in Tasmania for Charity

Nepalese in Tasmania, be ready to celebrate Teej, with Nepalese cultural vibes and same time contributing to community through charity. Nepali Samaj Tasmania is organising fundraising Teej event in Tasmania ‘Prakash Saput Live in Hobart’. Popular Nepali singer  Parkash Saput is set to perform in Tasmania for a fundraising event. As per organisers fund generated through this event will be utilised to support schools in rural Nepal.

Active fundraiser and general secretary Asmin Ghimire told NepaliPage, ‘we are expecting to collect at least $3000 fund from the event to support stationery and clothings for rural Nepalese school kids.’ The event will be held on 23 August 2022.

Prakash Saput performing in Tasmania for Charity - NepaliPage

The organisation helped school children of Dhadakharka Basic School Dhading Nepal through its previous Dashain Tihar Fundraiser and Tihar Sajh last year. They raised $3000 funds organising community program and bought 90 tracksuit and stationary set for students. This year too, through ‘Prakash Saput Live in Hobart’ they expecting to raise similar amount and planning to buy clothings & stationery for deprived students from one of rural Nepalese school.
