Arthur Gunn aka Dipesh Pokharel born in Kathmandu, Nepal has risen in fame after he participated in American Idol Season 18. During his first audition in Milwaukee, he had performed Bob Dylan’s ‘Girl from the North Country’, ‘Have You Ever Seen the Rain’, the classic version of CCR.
Gunn had taken a risk, changed a few keys and totally shook the arrangement. He actually wanted to recreate musical magic in Hollywood through an indie arrangement of ‘Have You Ever Seen the Rain’. He wanted to give in a breathing new life to the song.
Lionel Richie says, “He reminds me of Bob Marley. The spirit that came off that stage, oh my god.”
