In his first match in Big Bash League, Australia with Melbourne Stars. 18-year Nepalese cricket young sensation Sandeep Lamichhane is making highlights with his brilliant bowling.
Since the debut in International Cricket at the aged 15 Nepali youngster, Sandeep Lamichhane has been in the limelight among the cricketing world as potential cricketing sensation and he has not let down at that expectations. Sandeep made debut in International Cricket with Nepal Cricket Team in 2016. He didn’t take a time to show his potential in front of the coaches and quickly secured his place in starting 11. At the tender age, in 2016 his cricketing journey took a flight as he was given chance to play for Michael Clark.. Academy. 16-year-old Sandeep impressed Australian captain Michael Clarke while he was playing alongside him during the Hong Kong Twenty20 blitz. Clarke was so impressed that he took the step and gave the chance to Sandeep to play in his academy in Australia. That opportunity boosted his career and made him ready to shine in international cricket.

Another most important opportunity that Sandeep got was being bought by an IPL team Delhi Daredevils in 2017. IPL which is the biggest cricket league in the world and Delhi daredevils realized the skills he possessed and took him in their team. Though he played limited matches with Delhi he showed is capabilities to the whole world for the chances he got. After the successful spell with IPL his potential was known to the whole world and one after another he got chance in many other top t20 leagues like Canadian Premier League, Caribbean league Afghan league. He was also in the squad of World XI cricket team. After so many top league experience his confidence and skill are sharpening day by day and it looks he is not that far from being recognized as one of the fierce bowlers in international cricket.
Now he is heating the pitch at Australia in Big Bash league. BBL is high-class T20 cricket format league. Sandeep made Debut in BBL on Friday with Melbourne Stars. In his first match, he did not take time to show his magic. Hi is first over he took two brilliant wickets. One was of great batsman Shane Watson and second was Callum Ferguson. Both wickets came from catches, first was caught by Nick Larkin and the second was caught by Sandeep himself His total match stats vs Sydney Thunder was two wickets in four over for 36 runs with the economy of 9.00. So he was successful to make a strong impact and proved that he is very well deserving.

Sandeep is a big star in Nepal, his fan following is very large and is loved by everyone there. He was acquainted with a large number of his Nepalese fans at the stadium. Playing in these different international leagues. He is also starting to be recognized all over the world. Melbourne Stars captain, Glenn Maxwell said: “For such young player, he is very smart bowler”. And told that he is already a star.
