In a horrific murder-suicide case, bodies of a 22-year-old British backpacker and 33-year-old Nepalese Chef BF has been recovered from a Sydney apartment. The incident has left everyone shocked and terrified. As reported by the Daily Mail, former colleagues have said that Ms. Amelia Blake, British Backpacker was stalked by her BF, Nepalese chef and say that the killing has been done by him only. However, nothing about this has been revealed by the police yet.
The post-mortem on the bodies have been conducted however, police haven’t been able to find out the real cause of death. Till the time some conclusions are arrived at, the tiny Newtown flat would remain a crime scene. Friends of Ms. Blake are in shock and have posted their condolences on social media, some saying that “She was an angel and didn’t deserve such a gruesome death”.

The couple first met in Fogo Brazilia Churrasco in the inner-west suburb of Newtown while they were working in the place. Later after almost a year, the pair stopped working at the place with Ms. Blake going to work at a farm, fulfilling her dream to travel through Australia. The eatery is just a few minutes’ walk from the grisly scene of the apartment. The couple had moved in the Newtown flat only some time back and looked happy. They shared the flat and no one suspected any such differences between them.
After being concerned about the couple’s whereabouts, the landlord discovered the dead bodies of the two above this Persian restaurant in the inner-west suburb. Gurung, Nepalese Chef has been described as ‘infatuated’ with Ms. Blake and ‘constantly talking about her’ by an ex-colleague who no longer works at the restaurant. He said that Gurung seemed like a nice guy and they couldn’t have expected him to do such an act. The chef was infatuated with Ms. Amelia so much that even after she chose to work at a farm and left, Gurung still talked about her. The news has left every relative and people who knew the couple in shock, talking about the loss on the social media. Reportedly, parents of Ms. Blake have taken a flight to Sydney and will be reaching soon
