A career change is one of the biggest steps that one has to take and can be very scary sometimes. It doesn’t matter that you are going for something completely new or taking up something that was related to your previous job, the anxiety would be the same. You may not like your current job/industry you are working in, sometimes people leave job because of their managers, their interest in no more in that thing or the most legitimate one being that you don’t think the job is taking you somewhere. You need to start seeing what career options you have now that will match with your strengths and your educational qualifications. You may want to also do some courses in the meantime so as get yourself an edge.
- Research about the career options & Seek connections in the industry
Do a good research about the career option and then chose which you want to pursue. Look for geographical factors as well that is if you need to change your location etc… for that job.
Upon deciding a career, see if you can get in touch with some industry experts and people who are already working there. Cultivate good relations with them. It can help you in getting more job opportunities than what you would have gotten by yourself.

Have a good resume with skills and education matching to the job you are applying for. Have good references and also prepare fully for the interview.
