How international students can approach & get the Australian Awards?

Before applying for the Australian Awards, the students must figure out the opening and closing application date. Students are given the option of online submission of the application or through the mail.

Online Registration for Australian Awards

Through online, every student must get themselves registered on the Online Australian Scholarships System (OASIS) by answering a few questions to prove eligibility. After a successful registration username, password and registration number are provided.

Mail Registration for Australian Awards

In case the students face any sort of issue with the online submission a hard copy of the application can be sent via mail.

Documents required to approach Australian Award Scholarship
  • An attested copy of original documents including transcripts/ official records.
  • An attested copy of a birth certificate, passport, and national identity card.
  • Curriculum Vitae and research experience (if any)
  • One work-based and academic based reference report.
  • An attested copy of IELTS (minimum 6.5), PTE (minimum 58) or TOFEL (minimum 580).
  • An application from a research supervisor is needed for the Ph.D.
  • After being awarded the scholarship, the researcher should submit their research proposal to the institute.

Destination Australia

The scholarship promotes the educational well being of the international as well as national students to study in regional Australia. It encourages the students to grow and develop in the periphery of regional Australian tertiary education for the high-quality learning experience. How international students can approach & get the Destination Australia Scholarship?

  • Apply for the Destination Australia Scholarship (the award is provided by the educational institutions).
  • Receive your candidature outcome (the application outcome requires 6 weeks).
  • An attested copy of original documents including transcripts/ official records.
  • An attested copy of a birth certificate, passport, and national identity card.
  • An attested copy of IELTS (minimum 6.5), PTE (minimum 58) or TOFEL (minimum 580).

International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) program

The scholarship is given to all the international students (except New Zealand) willing to take up Master level education or Ph.D. level education in Australia. How international students can approach & get the IPRS scholarship?

  • Apply (online or mail based) to the universities listed for the IPRS scholarship.
  • Submit transcript, birth certificates, passport copy, and national identity.
  • An attested copy of the English language test (IELTS/TOFEL/PTE).
  • Full resume showcasing the work experience.
  • One reference from the academic and employment sector.

APEC Women in Research Fellowship

The fellowship is given to the female researcher of the APEC economies who are interested in research work. The aim of the fellowship is to empower women in several fields such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

How international students can approach & get the APEC scholarship?

  • Apply to the listed educational providers for the APEC scholarship.
  • Submit a resume with a work reference to apply for the post-graduate level.
  • List one academic and work reference.
  • Submit an attested copy of the English language test (IELTS/TOFEL/PTE)
  • An attested copy of educational documents, birth certificate, nationality card, and passport.

 Full Bright Scholarship

This scholarship is granted to the citizens of the USA. The scholarship is granted to students for bi-lateral academic and cultural exchange programs. The scholarship can be availed by undergraduates, graduates, post-doctorate students as well.

How international students can approach & get a Full Bright scholarship?

  • Students willing to take Full Bright scholarship must apply from their Fulbright Commission/Foundation or U.S. Embassy in their home countries.
  • Must have sufficient proficiency in the English language.
  • Doctoral training or research requires experience or training.
  • The student must meet the citizenship requirement.
  • Must hold an excellent academic background.
  • Have a well-defined project leading capacity.
  • A well written professional resume.
  • A copy of academic transcripts, documents, and passport.
